Words cannot express to you the good your work "Science and Health"Editorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy is having upon my invalid wife. It is now just about one month since we began to read them and it is indeed wonderful to witness the change. She says "tell Mrs Eddy I am better morally As Written: morrally as well as physically".

TodayAs Written:To day she took four natural steps by my supporting her a thing which she has not done since two years last Nov. hence you can see we have every reason to take courage. And the more I read your booksEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy the more desirous I am to fully understand Christian Science as taught by you

And at times I must confess I have serious thoughts of entering upon the work, and will place myself under your instruction as soon as possible and see what I can accomplish Then As Written: Than again I fear I may not be adapted to the work and I hesitate about what course to pursue for I would dislike very much to engage in a work of that kind and not be successful.

Miss Bartlett wrote me "that she thought you would form another Class soon". If this is so how soon and on what particular day should I need to be in BostonEditorial Note: Boston, Massachusetts to join the class?

I cannot say for certainly that I will join the class but if I can procure the means to pay my tuition and find a suitable person to care for my wife I am inclined to think I will enter upon the work

By the way what will be my tuition and when paid and could I procure board in the College Building? Trusting you will favor me with an early reply I am

RespectfullyAs Written:Respect. Yours
Leonard S. Thompson

P.S. Being an entire stranger to you if you desire references I can give them L.S.T.
