For several weeks I have been a reader of “Science of Health”Editorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy I am led to believe that it is a most valuable and wonderful work, but have not been successful As Written: successfull in improving my own health, and I therefore enclose $1Editorial Note: $1.00 in 1885 is the equivalent of $26.41 in 2019., as answer fee and wish to ask a few questions am twenty four and for past two or three years have been suffering from an affection As Written: effection of the spine which so effects my head and neck that at times am completely prostrated and have to be most careful As Written: carefull of taking any slight cold on that account.

Am also suffering from a female trouble of some months standing and which was, very much increased by Roller Skating during summer

I have used everythingAs Written:every thing that has been prescribed, but to no purpose, The latter gives me much pain each day.

I wish to ask if you think my case hopeless and if not what course I should pursue As Written: persue , and what will be the expense of treatment and can it be accomplished without seeing me?
