Dear Mrs Eddy,

I have known of Mrs H. A. Weed since a child, have known her personally over a year– I never have heard Spiritualism mentioned in connection with her name. If I remember rightly– she is a member of the Baptist Church. In our talks– there was not any thing that would lead me to think she did– or ever had favored Spiritualism in any way.

Yours truly–
Martha Skinkle
