My Sister Mrs Simmons who met you in ChicagoEditorial Note: Chicago, Illinois last Summer is very anxious to have me address you for her.

She has taken treatment of Dr Sherman for the last fifteen months has learned the ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science to aid all she could in the work of recovery & feels that Dr Sherman has done her much good but still the work of destruction is going on & she seems to be losing As Written: loosing ground as she sits up but a small part of the time & the cancer is growing fast.

Now she feels that you as the author & founder of this new ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science is the only one who could reach her to heal this dreadful malady.

Her mind is upon you much of the time & I fully believe she is so devoted to this cause she would give up her life before she would let an M.D. take the case. Now is there anythingAs Written:any thing that would induce you to treat her, her case is very widely known & we feel sure Dr Sherman has done all in his power to make a successful cure, & has worked with much earnestness for this result we have all looked forward to As Written: too so long.

Will you be kind enough to give her a few words of advice to cheer her and if you can't do anythingAs Written:any thing more for her. Please address

As the scales are beginning to fall from my eyesActs 9:18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized. & I can see more clearly the good work you have done & are still doing, my desire is that your days may be long on this earth to further the causeEditorial Note: The cause of Christian Science you have so nobly defended through persecutions & Trials & my greatest aspirations at this time is to make conditions so that I can be a pupil of yours at some future time
