I would like to know more about your College than I can learn in the Journal.

I am very much interested in the ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science and although I know very little of the Bible, and have only studied parts of the books Science & HealthEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, I have cured myselfAs Written:my self of Dyspepsia As Written: Dyspepsy and another trouble that several eminent physicians pronounced chronic, although my belief of catarrh has not entirely disappeared I feel like defying every physician in the land.

I understand from one of your pupils that the first class begins this month. Please let me know when the next class begins and whether a three weeks course is sufficient for one to become a healer to enable them to help others. I understand you take two members of a family for the same tuition as one, Does that mean only husband & wife or two sisters or mother & daughter.

If you will pardon me for further trespassing upon your time, I will write in behalf of a friend, who has been helpless at times for 13 years with rheumatism, She has been treated by Mrs Sawyer of MilwaukeeEditorial Note: Milwaukee, Wisconsin and helped very slightly for a time

She feels that she can be helped but her faith is constantly being argued against by her husband and four grown sons

But they all concede this much, if Mrs Eddy herself will only see and treat her she may be cured, and can then, go to BostonEditorial Note: Boston, Massachusetts with me and also enter the class if she is able. We two are the only persons interested enough to study earnestly in a town of 10,000 inhabitants. There are at least 75 of our friends who say if Mrs. Manson is helped they will become firm believers without a question. My faith in you and the wonderful truths in your books is so great that I feel justified in urging her to take this, to her, most As Written: must important step, as it is hard for her to travel and we are about 400 miles north of ChicagoEditorial Note: Chicago, Illinois. After reading in the Journal that you do not take patients I perhaps are asking too much, but I cannotAs Written:can not help trying when I feel that you might give her a new lease of life and her eight children the joy of having their mother’s As Written: mothers care again after all these years.

Hoping and trusting that you will not think me too aggressive I am most As Written: must sincerely yours,
