Editorial Note: Thomas W. Ripley sends Eddy a statement of costs for printing 500 circulars, 500 book
notices, and 500 business cards. He would charge $6.00 for the circulars, $6.00 for
the book notices and $1.75 for the business cards. The total cost would be $13.75.
He would be pleased to do this work for Eddy and guarantees satisfaction. ($6.00 is
the equivalent of $151.38 in 2016, $1.75 is the equivalent of $44.15 in 2016 and $13.75
is the equivalent of $346.91 in 2016.)
