My Dear Mrs Eddy

Please do not think me like one of the nine that returned not to give thanksLuke 17:11 ¶And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. Luke 17:12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: Luke 17:13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. Luke 17:14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. Luke 17:15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, Luke 17:16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. Luke 17:17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? Luke 17:18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. Luke 17:19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. , as my whole life has been giving thanks ever since I got hold of the Truth or rather since the Truth got hold of me. I have intended to call many times but remembering what a busy life you have I thought I would not add one bit to your care.

Many times of late I have had this word come to me, "Launch out into the deep"Luke 5:4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. I hardly know what it means but in thought I immediately associate it with Christian Science.

The work I have to do is such, that it takes all my time and sympathy and in a large sense unfits me for real clear thinking or concentration of thought. Sometimes I wish that I could cut loose from it all and be free to enter into the height and depth of this blessed truth. I want above all things to be able to interpret God's As Written: Gods word in its spiritual sense, I am very deficient in this, and feel it deeply.

I have continual proofs that God is able and does heal the body through this truth, for this I worship and adore, but I know I have only touched the hem of His garmentMatt 9:20 ¶And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: Matt 9:21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. Matt 9:22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour. Mark 5:25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, Mark 5:26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, Mark 5:27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. Mark 5:28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. Mark 5:29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. Mark 5:30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? Mark 5:31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? Mark 5:32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. Mark 5:33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. Mark 5:34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. Luke 8:40 And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him. Luke 8:41 ¶And, behold, there came a man named
Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus’ feet, and besought him that he would come into his house:
Luke 8:42 For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a-dying. But as he went the people thronged him. Luke 8:43 ¶And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, Luke 8:44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. Luke 8:45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? Luke 8:46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. Luke 8:47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately. Luke 8:48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.

The fact that we have omnipotence with us should dissipate As Written: disepate every fear or doubt and lead us into the full light. "God is not in the Shadows."
