I received letterEditorial Note: This letter is not extant. from your Secty bearing date Sept 6th in answer to mine of Aug 27th.Editorial Note: See 701A.82.003.; in His He says I did not name the Person with whom I studied if I did not I will: it was Mrs. Phelon; I took A course with her: I afterwards took instructions of Miss Mcculum: she was taught by Mrs Carson if I have been rightly informed Mrs C was taught by Mrs Eddy herselfEditorial Note: There is no record of a Mrs. Carson being taught by Mary Baker Eddy.; I have given my entire attention to the work since I commenced; I think I have got about all I can aside from the growth that practice will give me; although I am very ancious to come to the College shall do so as soon as I possibly As Written: posibly can; there will be A Mr. Woodward to see you if he has not already been; with whom I did think of coming with but matters so shaped that I could not afford it this present year; I suppose Mrs. Phelon is with you; I am doing A good work in healing thus far & expect to continue as my heart is in the work; I have [*]Editorial Note: The underlining that follows is probably in the hand of either Mary Baker Eddy or Calvin A.
