Pardon me for intruding upon your valuable time. but I am constrained by the laws of common humanity, and a limited knowledge of the blessed religion Christian Science. to address you.

I am a BostonEditorial Note: Boston, Massachusetts woman, thoughAs Written:tho' an alien some sixteen years. Since my residence West. I have made many visits to my old home. And what prompts me now. to write you, is a desire to go back, and learn all I can of the art of healing, as demonstrated by your school.

At the same time. I am an invalid, thoughAs Written:tho' one would never suspect such to be the case, as to all outward appearances, I am in perfect health.

One year ago. in my left breast, was noticed an unnatural growth, which grew to be quite a lump. accompanied with a heavy aching. During my absence from home, the subject, Christian Science, came under my attention. and after reading and thinking much came to the conclusion, that I must be healed, Then enter the field as a seeker, so I could work as a healer. Will you, Through your secretary, give me the information I desire; Can I be cured of this trouble in my breast. by receiving a course of lectures? Has a similar case ever been cured under such treatment? What would be the least expense that would carry me (with limited means) through a course of Metaphysical Healing lectures? Could I teach. or in a clerical way, reduce my expenses during the course?—

I am convinced by Divine revelationAs Written:revalation, that I must enter this great work. I have considerable power to relieveAs Written:releive pain and have used it to good effect, with many.

Can furnish best of references both here, and in Boston. I have a brother. (Mr Lee. of Lee and Shepard Publishers) there.

Would be pleased to hear from you immediately. Hoping the Divine principles of Christian Science, may be scattered broad cast throughout the land.

I remain,
Very Respectfully
