Dear Madam: —

I have just received a letter from an old friend who has been cured of very sore eyes by reading your book on "Science and Health"Editorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy

I have a daughter 14 years old who has not been able to go to school for the last year on account of her eyes. I have tried several different Dr's but she has received very little benefit. This friend advises me to read your bookEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy or correspond with you.

I would like to know the price of your bookEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy and if you can give me any points. I am poor, too poor to pay any exorbitant prices but am willing to pay what is right. I believe in "Christian Science", or think I would if I understood it. I feel very anxious about my girl, she is naturally very ambitious and it is a terrible trial to her to be deprived of the privileges she otherwise would enjoy.

I enclose stamped envelope and would be pleased to hear from you.
