Eddy. about one month ago sending her $1, dollarEditorial Note: $1.00 in 1884 is the equivalent of $28.22 in 2018. for, Mrs John Nichols, her subscription for the Journal of Christian Science, she has not as yet received her paper, Perhaps I did wrong in writing to Mrs Eddy, as her time is so, fully occupied with other things

If so will you Please inform me, By return Mail the lady is quite anxious to get her paper. I also asked you, or rather, Mrs Eddy, to send me, Christian Healing, Science of Man, The Peoples God, now if you do not As Written: donot Propose to send me those Books, for canvassing purposes As Written: Purpose's , Please say so to me in reply to this letter
