F. Berry, which she did, as I had to go with her and Mrs B had just commenced As Written: comensed a class of instruction, she made me a very kind proposition to join the class and as I could do so without taking extra time for the purpose, I accepted, was well pleased, have since reviewed with her, and trust profited As Written: proffited by the instruction, But my wife did not obtain help, and after returning home rapidly failed and died Dec 27th.

And now if anything my position is more embarrassing than when I wrote you last. and I barely know what to do, but think I may go west or south in the spring if there seems to be an opening for a time, And before I go I would like all the information in ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science I can get, and if you think it proper at present I would like to go through your Normal course, and perhaps review in your class. or anything that would be of real benefit to me or the cause of TruthEditorial Note: The cause of Christian Science.

I do not intend to plead poverty to anybody but as I have told you, my circumstances are peculiar! and now my financial matters if I can fairly dispose of the few personal effects I have I can pay all bills to date; and have most of my business fixings tools et ceteraAs Written:&c left, with an interest here in a place that will serve as a home for myself, a daughter 17, and a boy of 6 years of age, nothing more, except a desire and determination to do right: and I believe As Written: beleive the demonstration of Metaphysical healing and teaching to be right: and by the help of the Great Principle of lifeEditorial Note: God, I will try to demonstrate this Truth, I feel I am ready for anything good, and willing As Written: wiling if right to devote my whole time to this work, I have not had the opportunity As Written: oportunity thus far to work out full confidence in my own worthiness or ability to be successful, but as long as it "is no more me but Him that worketh,"Phil 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. I will not fear,

I would be pleased to receive any counsel As Written: council from you, and if you should see fit to give any. sincerely hope you will not work in vain,
