Yours of 10thEditorial Note: This letter is not extant. receivedAs Written:recd. I cannot come on the 16th for I am to be so engaged as I could explain & beside my sister is now quite unable at this time which will preclude her coming as you have explained to me.

I could have given the time a month or two ago better than now as I intimated to you ― now- I simply cannot. Though I am more sorry than you about it.

I see by the papers, that you have bargained for or bought a piece of land off Huntington Ave. for a buildingAs Written:bldg. – I am sorry it is not to be on the main throughfare –(Huntington Ave.) where so many pass in streetcarsAs Written:street cars & otherwise and all could see that Christian ScienceAs Written:C. S. had come boldly to the front et ceteraAs Written:&c.

I think land by good manipulation might be boughtAs Written:bot. on the Ave.Editorial Note: Huntington Avenue at a very low price if one meant "business" & cash

Yours very truly
