Dear Mrs. Eddy,

I am a teacher in the public schools—have a trouble with my eyes, which obliges me to wear glasses—just what the trouble is, I am unable to say. Dr Shaw of Eye and Ear Infirmary told me he thought the pupil was misshapen and that he would like to have me undergo a treatment, which of course I did not try.

Another doctor says the main nerve is very much thickened. Still another says the skin over the pupil is very thick—this last is the latest and I am inclined to think, more correct than the others.

How can my eyes be cured?

I suppose it will be required of me to leave off glasses—this I cannot do while school is in session and yet it is a long while to wait for vacation.

Will you kindly tell me if there is any way of helping them under the circumstances?

I am also troubled with nervous headaches, (very severe)—constipation and torpid liver. Judging from my feelings, I think my whole system needs toning.

Will you please send me full particulars and what can be done in my case

Yours sincerely
Anna C. Ennis.
