Dear Mrs. Eddy: -

we have heard and read of you doing wonderfully healing the sick. My Mother has been sick ever since the last of January she has had a very As Written: verry hard time of it, she was in bed a long time and since she got up from the bed she has had awful As Written: auful sick times in the night and does have them most every night now. she would some nights awake As Written: a-wake before she had slept As Written: slipt two hours and would be all stiffed up & could not hardly breathe & awful As Written: auful short breath & an awful As Written: auful pain in her lungs and right As Written: rite side. she has quite a number of other complaints I will tell you as near as I can about them she has a very As Written: verry large bunch on the right As Written: rite side of her neck, near her throat it is larger than As Written: then a teacupAs Written:tea cup and as hard. & her heart troubles her & she bloats a good deal. now Dear Mrs Eddy will you please heal my Mother of all of the above diseases, we will pay you whateverAs Written:what ever you ask. would you have to see her in order to treat her, if you will heal her we will be very As Written: verry thankful to you, please will you write right As Written: rite back by return mail and tell me what you will do. for she needs reliefAs Written:releal immediately As Written: imeadiatly or I fear it will be too As Written: to late. may God give you strength to attend to her.
