Manuscript Description: Handwritten by George B. Charles on his lined printed stationery as General Agent
for Illinois of the Indexed Atlas of the World, by Rand, McNally & Co., from Austin, Cook County, Illinois.
Editorial Note: Charles has heard that Mary Baker Eddy is about to publish a new edition (the sixth
edition) of her book, Science and Health, and that she is offering it for sale at $3.00 ($78.35 in 2016). If the new edition
is ready, Charles asks that Eddy send him the two volumes that comprise one copy of
the book. It should be sent by American Express, C.O.D., and Charles will promptly
remit payment. He also requests a sample copy of The Christian Science Journal.
