Will you Please have the kindness, to just stop one moment, from your arduous toils and already overburdened time, and Explain one point in "Metaphysics" which the readers of "Science"Editorial Note: Christian Science in this place do not all get the same understanding.

Of course both cannot be right & we are anxious to get the true rendering.

The point on which we differ is this. "All in mind, there is no matter" some get the understanding that all matter is an illusion There is no trees, shrubs, plants, flowers, animals or persons. It is all imagination.

While other reading the same get the understanding that it’s As Written: its only in the ‘Metaphysical’ rendering that matter is not real, But "there is organized & structural life such as the senses take in, in the life of the tree, the plant, the animal, & the material man" but they are dependent upon the mind & are in subjection to it, And another asks the question “What was the origin of evil & when & by whom introduced.

There are six families in this place that are studying your booksEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. Prof. S. J. Sawyer of MilwaukeeEditorial Note: Milwaukee, Wisconsin has been here & lectured, but the above points were not made quite clear. I feel before closing I must extend heartfelt thanks to you for what your works have done for me, they found me bed & almost helpless as an infant, now I call myself well but not very strong yet.

Hoping you will deem us few worthy a littleAs Written:alittle consideration & that at your earliest convenience.
