Editorial Note: Wheeler had misgivings about having written to Eddy, thinking that she might have
been mistaken in assuming that the author of Science and Health was her old friend, Mary Baker. But she was able to put those doubts to rest. She
is impressed by the contents of Science and Health and recognizes in its words the elegance of Eddy's diction.
