Editorial Note: Frye was a student in Mary Baker Eddy's May 1880 class but dropped out before the
class was completed. In this letter, she gives Eddy some reasons for dropping out.
She says she didn't know that Christian Science healing was so complicated, and she
disagrees with some of Eddy's theology, including Eddy's views on the Atonement of
Christ. However, she says that she enjoyed reading Eddy's book, Science and Health.
