My dear Mrs. Eddy:

Ever since I saw you last I have been busy, trying to help others as you have helped me - I was not able to see in ChicagoEditorial Note: Chicago, Illinois any of the friends I had hoped to see. I met in Wisconsin many who are interested, & some who will probably go in to you in the fall for lectures -

There has not been a day hardly since I left BostonEditorial Note: Boston, Massachusetts that I have not had demands upon me in the way of healing -

I find myself quite alone here, not alone except as far as human sympathy goes - I hope to do something toward spreading the light -

I am anxious to hear that you have gone to the sea or the mountains for change of ocean & air -

I am sure you ought to have rest & change. -

I have circulated the Journals & circulars given me -

I find my home very pleasant now the prairies are green & fresh – the earth fresh from the hands of its creatorEditorial Note: God -

My little mrs I found all well I came to them with new [?] Unclear or illegible  et ceteraAs Written:&c & joy - Remember dear Mrs. Eddy I expect you to make any demand upon me, & if it is in my power I shall accede to it.

I only reached home a few days ago - I have had many demonstrations of the power of the truth, but none I need repeat to you as remarkable - Have you seen Mr. Beacher's last Sunday sermon & what he says of the power of Spirit?

YoursAs Written:Yrs very Truly
