I write to know if I can be admitted to your next class and if you will allow me to take advantage of your generous discount of one hundred dollarsEditorial Note: $100.00 in 1886 is the equivalent of $3,113.36 in 2022. to those who are unable to pay full price. I have been obliged to support my family for the past two years by keeping boarders and have not been able to lay aside money enough to take me through the class, and shall be obliged to borrow if I come.

I went through Mrs Colman's first class here and had the privilege of sitting through Mrs Fenns for which I am truly thankful. but still I am not satisfied, and find myself hungering and thirstingMatt 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. after more of this blessed Truth, and a better understanding of the great underlying Principle of this beautiful ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science.

May I come? that my thirsty Soul may drink from the well of salvationIsa 12:6 Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee. and be satisfied. An early reply will greatly oblige as I must make some arrangements about finances if I can come. for the truth of my statements I would refer you to Mrs Fenn also Mr & Mrs Filbert who are neighbors of mine and know something of my misfortunes
