My dear Mrs. Eddy

After glancing at that wicked man’s translationEditorial Note: This is possibly a reference to Old Theology In its Application to the Healing of the Sick, the Redemption of Man from the Bondage of Sin and Death, and his Restoration to an Everlasting Life,  by Edward J. Arens. Boston: Alfred Mudge & Son, 1884. of the Chapter in RevelationAs Written:Rev. – I closed the book with no desire ever to look into it (Old Theology) again. –

He has only heaped up to himself “wrath against the day of wrath”Rom 2:5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; . May he yet repent in sack cloth and ashesMatt 11:20 ¶Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not: Matt 11:21 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee,
Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
Luke 10:13 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee,
Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
Luke 10:14 But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.
.

My precious friend – I only love you more, and more tenfoldAs Written:ten fold for every evil word he said against you; he has opened my eyes (to put myself and others on guard against him) as no word of yours could ever have done.

“In thy majesty ride prosperously, because of truth and meekness and righteousness.”Ps 45:4 And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.

“The King’s daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold”Ps 45:13 The king’s daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.

“God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.”Ps 46:5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

“The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.”Ps 46:7 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

“O, clap your hands all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.”Ps 47:1 O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

Sincerely your friend & child
