My Dear Teacher

I have spent most of two days hunting up law, National law, and it is a dull job for me as I know little or nothing about law, of that kind.

I have not yet gained sufficient information in reference to charter getting, et ceteraAs Written:& C- to go into it– So I write you supposing that some of our older brothers or sisters in Christian ScienceAs Written: C.S. have gone through this "mile," and can give others the manner of proceeding et ceteraAs Written:& C- I do not like to take your time. but thought you might hand this over to someone As Written: some one who can answerAs Written:ans. my questions–

I would like to know if one person can apply for charter, or how many,– To whom do we apply – and can it be done by letter

The time to procure it – The duration, and the expense - do we need a board of Trustees?– as I say I never had a law case on my hands, and am perfectly ignorant of Such business

It would be good to have some good plan for these schoolsEditorial Note: This is a reference to Christian Science Institutes. Mary Baker Eddy at this time had requested a number of her students to establish public Institutes in their cities for teaching Christian Science., that all may be in order- and we may help each other out, by our past experience

Very Respectfully with much Love from all.
