Dear Friend,

I see by the paper As Written: papper [*]Editorial Note: This is a reference to The Christian Science Journal. Mrs. L. P. Holbrook has come to New Haven to practice the Mind Cure.

I have not called on her, [?] Unclear or illegible  and I should like to know if she is one of your students and if she is all right. I do not seem to recollect As Written: recolect the name, but then I suppose you have had a great many students since I saw you

I came here 2 1/2 years ago and have had all the practice I could take care of with the exception of the first two months. It took me that time to get started for the mental method of healing diseaseEditorial Note: Christian Science was new here, and the people were slow to believe.

It seems a long time since I saw you, and it would give me great pleasure to see, and talk with you as I used to.

I often read your book “Science & Health”Editorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy and should like to know if you have published any more, or written anythingAs Written:any thing new on the subject
