Dear Mrs Eddy.

There seems to be a misunderstanding among some of your Students in regard to my feelings toward you. I have none but the kindest feelings toward you. And many a thought of love has gone out to you in the past few weeks.

because I have taken a course of study with Mrs Newman I do not think any less of the teaching of Truth I receivedAs Written:recd from you. My heart is large enough for the love due to each one of you. I consider the instruction I have receivedAs Written:recd from Mrs Newman invaluable.

Am trying to grow in this Truth. and want to gain all that I can. I have learned that I cannot overcome error by trying to throw it back onto someoneAs Written:some one. but must meet it with love. I know this from experience. if my own life is right, and I live in the atmosphere of harmony that I ought. Malice cannotAs Written:can not reach me. but just as one evil thoughts go out to others just so much more we have to overcome in ourselves.

I have thought you would come to see me. And told Miss Bartlett & Mrs Cross to say to you that I would be glad to see you.

The books Science & HealthEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. that were sent me. I have not sold near all of them yet. I have learned from some of your Students since I came here that you allowed them 5 perct on all the Students they sent you. And as the amount on the books did not quite cover what would be due me for the three students I last sent you. I am willing to let that cover the amounts if agreeable to you. but under the circumstances do not care to pay the money for them.

I hear that I have been expelled from the Association. because I would investigate this Truth. if so. The association is not what I thought it to be or I never should have joined it. for this Truth is free to everyoneAs Written:every one. no one of us has it all. God’s creation is All in All. And eternal.

“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;”II Cor 3:4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: II Cor 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

“And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap; if we faint not.”Gal 6:9 And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Yours truthfully
