Editorial Note: In this letter, Georgietta Poor informs Mary Baker Eddy of the death of her uncle,
William S. George. Poor had written a letter (503.56.001) introducing Eddy and her ideas to George,
in hopes that he could be healed through Christian Science. She adds that she had
received a letter from him acknowledging his receipt of the books but stating that
he had not yet read them.
