I did receive your letterEditorial Note: This letter is not extant. with article for publication. I went at once & secured its publication in the leading morning news paper of the city, paying the price asked for one insertion, intending to have it published in several of the city papers, immediately following its first appearance in the TimesEditorial Note: Chicago Times, But after looking in vain for its appearance, after two days, I saw the advertising agent who received my money, who told me that he would see to it at once. still not seeing it, I telephoned the city Editor from my own house, when I learned that it was considered objectionable as it might involve the Proprietors in a libel Suit. Since then, I have called at the Office but as the agent was not in, got no satisfaction. I have waited thus long, partly on account of unusual press of Professional business, but principally with the hope of being able to send a copy of your article as published. As yet I am unable to say why the article was not published, but be assured I shall see that it is published, unless it has been cast aside in the waste basket. Now fearing that it has been destroyed, May I ask you to send at once on receiptAs Written:rect. of this, another similar card as I feel the necessity of rebuking the insolence and lies of certain parties here. Our meetings of the C.S.A.Editorial Note: This is not a reference to the Boston-based Christian Scientist Association . It refers to a similar organization in Chicago, made up of Mary Baker Eddy’s students and other Christian Scientists in the Chicago area. are well attended, and the last was harmonious pleasant, and I trust profitable to all present. I have not seen Sister Brown since her return, as I have so little time to spare from business, & she seems equally busy. Shall probably see her at our Meeting thursday next, when we shall certainly hear good and cheering words from the east through her. Now Dear Teacher although I know that Error carries with it the elements of its own destruction As Written: distruction , I regret that so many inquiring minds are led into false statement at the very outset. Hence have so much to unlearn, before they can begin to advance in ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science. Mrs A. joins in love to you, and that the Truth, the seeds of which you have so liberally sown may soon cover the face of the earth as the water cover the great deepHab 2:14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. is the prayer of your Faithful Student
