Accession: 402.51.004
Editorial Title: Albert B. Dorman to Mary Baker Eddy, December 10, 1883
Author: Albert B. Dorman
Recipient: Mary Baker Eddy
Date: December 10, 1883
Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Albert B. Dorman on lined paper from Worcester, Massachusetts.
Editorial Note: Dorman is writing to Mary Baker Eddy because he forgot to include payment for the copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures he ordered for his parents. He also says that he does not know enough about metaphysics to begin healing, so he asks Eddy for help to overcome his belief of a severe cold and his young daughter's chicken pox. Dorman also hopes that these healings will prove to his wife the efficacy of Christian Science, as she does not yet share his belief in it. A notation at the top of the letter says that this letter was answered on December 11, 1883.
