Editorial Note: Smith tells Mary Baker Eddy of his plans to return to Washington, DC, and perhaps spend the winter in the South. He is still studying Science and Health, but has been ill. He describes a chair he has invented. He thinks Eddy might be interested in it and includes a photograph of it with his letter.
