Dear Mrs. Eddy.

Index – the last pp. – went to printer Mon. morn. & I expect proofs any minute. Shall I send them to you, or shall I expedite matters by returning at once to press? I think the latter; as it is understood that the Index is made for you, not by you; & all deficiencies can be laid at my door.

The Journal is – I suppose – in prep now. The Xmas ThanksEditorial Note: This is a reference to an article by Mary Baker Eddy on page 190 of the January 1886 Christian Science Journal, thanking those who sent her Christmas presents. et ceteraAs Written:&c went in with some changes. Hope the Journal will please you. Have much matter left over – a little in type, & considerable in manuscript. Please send me some Questions & Answers for Feb; & any Cures you may have on hand.

Will submit account to Mrs. Crosse.

Enclosed please find my final a/c on Science & HealthEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
