My Dear Teacher.

I was sorry I could not thank you in person last night for your work on my copy. I am anxious to do right and am trying to do so in all ways. Would you rather I made no further attempt to take a report of what you say or is it of some value —

I will As Written: wil provide myself with paper Sunday and try to give more accurately your words if you wish or I will do nothing about it if you wish that- only I would like to know your wishes beforehand As Written: befohand – I know nothing of shorthandAs Written:short hand methods. but I have a way of my own which I can use fairly well —

I thank you again for your attention but am almost sorry I sent any copy at all since it needed so much correction —

With gratitude and love
