Your welcome letterEditorial Note: This letter is not extant. was greeted with love and pleasure. would we could see your dear self and hear your dear voice and loving words in this blessed science of truthEditorial Note: Christian Science. we are all just in the alphabet of life

but we know by living in God's presence we have life. and by overcoming the world in imitation of ChristJohn 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. we find rest. I often wish we could hear your Lectures on the Sabbath, for we should never grow weary of hearing your truths. the bottom of God's well is never reached the more we find the purer it is.

I often think what proof could we give of our loyalty to God if we had no war fare or any trials to encounter, and nothing to suffer, and you my dear teacher must have many laurels gained and many a gem in the crown of rejoicingI Thess 2:19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? , for the many trials you have endured in the severe conflict that has been going on, while passing through the mists of time your teachings of truthEditorial Note: Christian Science will be heard in the remotest, abodes of suffering humanity. you have borne the cross and will win the crown safely to the Golden gates

we have just had a letter from Detroit saying that Mrs Plunkett is about to start a College there, but think she will fail in her attempt as her reputation is not good. a lady who knew her well, told me about the life she was leading In her stripe of Error, there will be no star of freedom, till the dove of peace is her welcome guest. every few days I hear Mrs Hopkins name mentioned.

How could she step from truth to error. she must regret the action she has taken, if I could only see you your dear self could tell you many things that I cannot write, about, if we could only have harmony, where there is discord, how delightful As Written: delightfull it would seemAs Written:seeme, we are all well and happy in our work. my sister wishes to be remembered As Written: remember with much love and the best of wishes for your dear self. also Mr Sherman sends many blessings and the kindest of his heart best wishes, my dear teacher we often say and feel that no stain has dimmed the honored truth of our scienceEditorial Note: Christian Science, and no thoughts of strife can molest its precious light of immortality

Your loving student
with a dovefull of love for you
