My Dear Teacher.

It has been a long time since I trespassed As Written: tresspassed on your valuable time, but feeling that I should give you an account of my StewardshipAs Written:Steward-ship, I again take the liberty of addressing you. About the 16th ultimo I was requested to go to Denver, ColoradoAs Written:Colo. and take a Class, with the promise of ten to fourteen Students. Mrs Sherman accompanied me, and was a great help in my efforts to teach the large class which forced themselves upon me to the number of fifty, composed of all shades of opinions and beliefs, consisting of Jews and Gentiles, Catholics, and Protestants of various breeds. I had one Unitarian Clergyman two Lawyers two Doctors, and one writer and lecturer on Hygienic As Written: Hygenic Laws, and I am pleased to say they all accepted the Truth with great unanimity. and there were several very thorough conversions and a number of remarkable demonstrations by the students, even before the close of the Class.

I must say that I never before so fully appreciated your efforts to bring people to a knowledge of the TruthI Tim 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; I Tim 2:2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. I Tim 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; I Tim 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. .

We left DenverAs Written:D. Dec 30th for HomeEditorial Note: Chicago, Illinois, feeling well pleased with our trip, and think much good was accomplished. Jan 4th the Class were to form an Association under the same Constitution as the C. S. A of BostonEditorial Note: Boston, Massachusetts and Chicago.

I saw in DenverAs Written:D a Mrs Prentice a student of Dr Arens, who wanted to enter my class; I learned that she had denounced my Teacher therefore I refused her admission, then she denounced me, and said she was going to write you about me et ceteraAs Written:&c et ceteraAs Written:&c, all of which I care nothing about. I done what I thought to be right in the matter. My whole effort was to teach the ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science as you taught As Written: tought me, which I know is right leaving the result with God Truth & love.
