Your very welcome letter of the 27th instEditorial Note: This letter is not extant. came duly. In reply I have to say, that I care nothing for the slanders about myself, so long as my reputation stands right with yourself. and the Association. And thanks to you for the little understanding I have of Truth, and Mortal Mind. I can protect myself and patients from evil.

I had a word from Miss Brown saying the Normal Class would commence Feb 15th which falls on Sunday. please inform me if I can make my calculations to that effect. I anticipate much pleasure in receiving additional instruction from you and shall endeavor to avail myself of the great privilege.

Mrs Sherman and Sister wish to be remembered with Love and best wishes for your happiness.
