My very dear Teacher

I was so delighted to receive your dear precious letterEditorial Note: This letter is not extant. - It turned the silver lining of the cloud towards me, reflecting the Divine Love - an angel visit which I entertain with loving jealousy – If it were not for your comforting words, I am afraid my path would seem thorny at times — but God is very good to give me so dear a friend and teacher to guide me – and trust he will keep me faithful to your teachingsEditorial Note: Christian Science, for I know them to be Truth -

The work grows more and more interesting – to stop would be simply impossible – it never occurs to me -–I am so impressed at times with the immensity As Written: imminsity of the work to be done and so few at work – I feel that I must go out and sound a trumpet to awaken the people to a realization of the great fact that God is with us — Yes dear teacher in healing, I have learned, it is the Spirit that heals and not the letter – and how beautiful it is to see the mind changing from indifference to an interest in a higher and better life - the young respond to the truth so readily and are the best friends to Christian Science -

I hope the "New Year 1886'' will be a great triumph for Christian Science - and may God send you a band of faithful workers to prepare for the great battle that is to be fought with sin —

I will not take any more of your time. and thank you very much for your kind advice - and will try to rise higher and higher into the understanding of Life. "All is Life there is no death" –

May God bless and comfort you daily - is the prayer of your loving student –
