My dear Mrs Eddy

I did not expect to write you again so soon neither do I think now that I ought to bother you about a letter such a one as the enclosedEditorial Note: See 707A.84.068.. It is one of several that I have received from different friends and formerly patients of Mine who have been healed though my understanding: My first work done here was in BeatriceEditorial Note: Beatrice, Nebraska and all the interest that is there was awakened through my efforts to the causeEditorial Note: The cause of Christian Science. that is so dear to me.

I am in doubt now my dear teacher whether As Written: wheather I should pay any attention to this letter, or let it pass as I have done with similar letters received from other persons in Beatrice.

I surely have no time in my work– in fact I never have had time– since I found my way in christian science to give thought or deed in promoting discord. My efforts have always been in the other direction.

The one referred as "Mrs C." in this letter which I enclose is I am sorry to say Mrs Colman, one to whom As Written: whome my every thought has been good.

I will say no more of this for I do-not think it needs it– should you think it worthy of any attention anyoneAs Written:any one at Beatrice, here, or Council BluffsEditorial Note: Council Bluffs, Iowa, interested in our cause, can inform you what my work has been in the interest of peace and goodwill As Written: good-will to all. I shall answer Mr Rogers letter as I have all others referring to this matter, that harmony should prevail and that no thought to the Error should be given. In belief this has been a source of great annoyance to me for several As Written: sevral months and I am now again trying to put it from me.

Lovingly your student
