Thanks for your prompt reply of the 6thEditorial Note: See 237AP1.38.042.. No one is more painfully aware of the malteaching that is going on than I; except yourself. I did not voluntarily enter the field of Christian Science as a teacher, nor have I any ambition in that direction now. I have only taught, thus far, as I thought, first, by your request; second, have continued, as I supposed, by your approval. I did not know until your letter of the 6 thEditorial Note: See 237AP1.38.042. stated. that you made a normal course requisite to obtain your approval, or I should have known better than to ask for a notice in the “Journal”. Your making such conditions before giving an approval. I coincide with, but wish it had been understood at the first, then it would have checked much of the malteaching already done.

However I am confident, in the divine Wisdom, all things will yet be made to glorify his name; and Christian Science will be the instrument by which all malteaching, and malpractice will be destroyed. However much I wish my finances forbid taking a Normal course at present, so I must bide my time. The change in the Journal to a Magazine is good. I hope the new publisher will mail the 6 copies to my address promptly. I enclose $1.00 for another copy, which will make 7 copies to be sent hereafter. Will you please call their attention to it. and oblige.

Yours faithfully
S. J Sawyer.
