Accession: 237AP1.38.007
Editorial Title: Silas J. Sawyer to Mary Baker Eddy, December 5, 1883
Author: Silas J. Sawyer
Recipient: Mary Baker Eddy
Date: December 5, 1883
Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Silas J. Sawyer on lined printed stationery of his dental practice from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Editorial Note: Sawyer tells Mary Baker Eddy that in his previous letter, he neglected to ask her about studying to prepare for a class with her at the Massachusetts Metaphysical College. Heretofore he has taken the chapter "Recapitulation" in Eddy's book, Science and Health, as a kind of index of a method of study. But he would like to know what Eddy herself would recommend studying prior to coming to Boston for class. He adds that Fannie Silsbee has taken his advice to spend more time in study before she goes to Boston to take a class with Eddy.
