My dear Teacher

It was so good of you to tell that Lady she could come and a great disappointment to all of us that she could not go but she said it was impossible for her to raise the money to pay the expense of ticket and board but she is determined to learn of no other teacher and will surely come in the Spring and my sister had a letter from another friend who is reading the books “Science and Health”Editorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. and she wants to go but cannot go till Spring so you see dear Teacher you will have quite a classEditorial Note: Class at the Massachusetts Metaphysical College and perhaps we shall be able to induce others to go and what a privilege to work for Christian Science and divine Truth. I often think what a reward will be yours dear Teacher when all the precious ones are gathered into the true fold of the Good ShepherdEditorial Note: Jesus Christ. “Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.”Isa 62:3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God. The thought that some time when we have laid aside the cross and proved ourselves worthy of the crown we shall meet to part no more is impossibly dear to my heart and seems to bring Heaven very near. I thank God for “Christian Science” what peace and joy it gives to us God’s blessing rest upon you dear for all your self-sacrifice and labor for the good of others. May each one “stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us freeGal 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Your loving student
