Dear Sir

as requested we have made full enquiries at Stationers HallEditorial Note: The Stationers' Company, located at Stationers' Hall, is one of the livery companies of the City of London. with the following result:

Enclosed form must be filled up & signed by the proprietor of the copyright in the presence of a witness & sent with four full copies of the book to Stationers Hall.

It must bear the name of an English publisher & the book must have been first published in England.

It is the custom to publish American As Written: american books in England & America As Written: america simultaneously care must be taken that the publication in America is not before that in this country.

If it is desired to reserve the right of translation & reproduction the fact should appear in print on the title page.

We made a careful search of the file of publications under the initial letters "H." M." & "S." & we did not find any title suggesting the subject of "mind cure" since Oct 1884.

If there is a difficulty in obtaining the signature of the proprietor we can suggest a means of avoiding that difficulty if the proprietor is represented in this country

We are
Yours faithfully
