My very Dear teacher Mrs Eddy

It has been my Greatest Desire to get All that Can be learned in Christian ScienceAs Written:C. S. and Put it to use = but want of material As Written: meterial means Prevents me at Present gratifying that Desire = my Wife is anxious As Written: anxiouse to enter your next class and be fitted as a teacher & So Am I she should and with the knowledge As Written: knowlege she has of the Bible would (I think) make one that you would be proud of As Written: off in the future = We Could by borrowing some and Putting what we have Manage As Written: Mannege to get about $50-Editorial Note: $50.00 in 1886 is the equivalent of $1,437.54 in 2021. but we owe you yet $200Editorial Note: $200.00 in 1886 is the equivalent of $5,750.17 in 2021. from our tuition and do not yet see our way to Pay any of it But We Will = though at Present do not think it right to make our Debt As Written: Debpt any larger = if you will Dear teacher – take her into your next class for $50Editorial Note: $50.00 in 1886 is the equivalent of $1,437.54 in 2021. we will get it & Remain thankfully & ObedientAs Written:Obidient = She then Can teach while I work & may by & by As Written: bye extend this Glorious CauseEditorial Note: The cause of Christian Science. even outside our Nation = I could by taking A ship Soon Pay what I owe = but you don't As Written: dont want me to do So & I don't As Written: dont neither =
