My dear Teacher,

I have just returned from the Ass. MeetingEditorial Note: This is a reference, not to the Christian Scientist Association composed of Mary Baker Eddy’s students, but to an association of Eddy’s students and other Christian Scientists in the greater Chicago area. & found your on my return. Am shocked. But God reignsAs Written:reighns. Dr A. stated his experience in regard to the article you mention before the AssociationAs Written:Ass. and also said he had written twice to you in regard to it. It has appeared and only in one paper but already has done some good. I will see him tomorrow and learn more about it. Dr Avery and Rodger Sherman were appointed today a Standing Committee on publications. I would suggest you write to Rodger Sherman in the future as Dr A. is a busy all the time on specialAs Written:spicial cures. I am going to make an effort to have Students meetings for the purpose of studying the New Testament, the life and character of Jesus. The bell has just rung. a patient so good bye. Will write after to see Dr. A. if there is anythingAs Written:any thing important He did not say at the AssociationAs Written:Ass. that he had receivedAs Written:rec’d any telegrams but said he receivedAs Written:rec’d the Article and had written you as I state above
