In reply to your request about my teacher will say that I have had none. I was treated, and healed through Mrs Hale; at the College I took my first treatments from her. I became so much interested in the work I bought your booksEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy from her; after reading over and over I still found myself in darkness; I went to her and asked her to help me, for which I was willing to pay her all I could then afford which she did, and from her I got a good deal of help, but at last took your books, and my Bible and went to work; I used all the light I could get, and tried to help all with whom I came in contact that was in need; I devoted every spare moment to study, and demonstration; the conflicts have been many, and severe, but the blessings have been doubly dear to me.

Since the first of January I have been paid small amounts for my work; I have saved every dollar; a party that I have treated with splendid results has told me I could draw upon them for $100,00Editorial Note: $100.00 in 1886 is the equivalent of $2,882.66 in 2021. which has made me very happy; not only for the help it gives me towards entering your Class which has been my constant desire and prayer, but it proved to me how great was God's As Written: Gods love for me; and that he had permitted me to carry the truth of being, and life everlasting to his children.

A large field for labor is opened for me here, also in Rochester New YorkAs Written:N-. Y- - - -; but I am not willing to push on until from your own lips I have learned the depths of this great, and Glorious work; not to enter your next class, would be the greatest, and most As Written: moste severe disappointment of my life.
