My darling Teacher

What do you mean by asking me, me to open an InstituteEditorial Note: This is a reference to the “Institutes” that existed at the time. They were established in various cities for the purpose of teaching Christian Science by some of Mary Baker Eddy’s students and advertised in The Christian Science Journal. Eddy had been writing to some of her students with requests to establish such Institutes. Her letter to Laura V. Lathrop requesting this is not extant.! If you should telegraph me to go to KamschatkaEditorial Note: The Kamchatka Peninsula. It is located in eastern Russia. and give treatments, deliver lectures, or any other part of the globe I would go but to open an Institute– My dearest, it takes my breath! Somebody would have to tell me just what to do, for you know until I came into ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science, from my very girlhood I was unable in belief even to do the marketing for my family and of course know about as much about business as a baby. I do know one thing however – I love you and I want to follow your advice not only once but always. And if you think I am fitted for such an undertaking – I can't As Written: cant fail – I never have, and somebodyAs Written:some body will advise me how to go about it, I will do it.
