What do you mean by asking me, me to open an InstituteEditorial Note: This is a reference to the “Institutes” that existed at the time. They were established in various cities for the purpose of teaching Christian Science by some of Mary Baker Eddy’s students and advertised in The Christian Science Journal. Eddy had been writing to some of her students with requests to establish such Institutes. Her letter to Laura V. Lathrop requesting this is not extant.!
