My Dear Mrs Eddy,

Last night the College Faculty(?) met at Mrs Bells, and the enclosed for advertisement in the Journal was the result. Miss Brown was absent, and declines to have part in the matter for the present. She will be home from DecaturEditorial Note: Decatur, Illinois tonightAs Written:to-night and will I think Consent to have her name on the list tomorrowAs Written:to morrow But they (the others) insist on having this "ad" in the Journal this month (Sept). Instead therefore of sending the ad directly to the Journal I enclose it to you: 1st for approval or alteration. 2d to insert Miss Brown's As Written: Browns name if you think it advisable.

We shall issue a prospectus at once and go to work. We have fixed as yet upon no particular location for the students to meet to receive instructions. The first class (small doubtless) can be taught at the rooms of the teacher We can rent a building when needed.

The Hall where we worship Can be procured for a Class Room (and it is well arranged for the purpose) at the rental of $15.Editorial Note: $15.00 in 1886 is the equivalent of $486.23 in 2023. a week. If the size of the classes will warrant the expense, it would be well to have the church and College domiciled together
