I am enclosing As Written: inclosing a copy of Mrs. Hind's letter just received Will send you the original when I find a messenger going. Will not trust it with the mail. I will also send you a typed copy of her private letter to me and a copy of my answer to the same.

I am very glad to be able to furnish some fruit notwithstanding the great risk incurred to obtain it.
