Whereas, the corporation of the Massachusetts Metaphysical College has also been dissolved, to the end that the spirit of Christ may have free course among its students and all who come into the understanding of Divine Science, and whereas our Teacher reminds us anew that spiritual progression is the order of divine Science, and that spiritual attainment is measured by the degree of freedom from material methods, and human customs, based on the mortal belief of minds many.

Now, be it resolved by the members of the Church of Christ (Scientist) of Boston

(1.) That the time has come when this Church should free itself from the thralldom As Written: thraldom of man-made laws, and rise into spiritual latitudes where the law of love is the only bond of union.

(2) That the regulations and Bylaws As Written: By-Laws of this church be and are hereby declared to be, in all their articles and clauses except that part of Article As Written: Artical 1. which fixes its name, null and void.

(3) That the corporation be and is hereby dissolved and that the present Clerk of the church be hereby requested to take the steps necessary to give legal effect to this resolution

(4) The members of this church hereby declare that this action is taken in order to realize more perfectly the purposes of its institution as an organization viz. growth in spiritual life and the spread of the "glad tidings" — and that they will continue as a Voluntary Association of Christians, knowing no law but the law Love, and no master but Christ, in the exercise of all the ministrations and activities heretofore performed by them as a church of Christ (Scientist)

(5) That the members of this church hereby make loving recognition of the services and guidance of the founder and late pastor of the church, and also the expression of their grateful thanks to those who in the capacities of assistant pastor or otherwise have fostered its growth.
