Dear Mrs Eddy,

On returning from a visit to Connecticut I find your kind noteEditorial Note: This note is not extant. inviting me to visit you at LynnEditorial Note: Lynn, Massachusetts. It is now too late and besides I cannot well at present leave home, having been called from Connecticut by Mrs Alcott's illness. She is now more comfortable, but still requires our attendance.

I may hope at some future time to have the pleasure of an interview.
