I can assure you that I learned As Written: learnd nothing but praise of Yourself and followers during my visit at LynnEditorial Note: Lynn, Massachusetts. Nor have I elsewhere before that or since. And you must have felt that I was more than pleased with your circle and Yourself on that evening at your room.

If I can serve you at this time, please inform me either by letter or in a personal interview.

I shall be in BostonEditorial Note: Boston, Massachusetts some day this week, having a "Conversation" at SomervilleEditorial Note: Somerville, Massachusetts. I have not yet learned on what evening definitely.

If most convenient and proper I might ride out and see you at Lynn.

Truth, you know, has to run the gauntlet on all sides to triumph over adversaries, and honor itself.

Yours truly,
A. Bronson Alcott.
